How to Measure Your Ring Size
Did you know that most people are unsure of their ring size? And did you know that there can be a difference between the ring size of your left and right ring finger? But don’t worry; you can easily determine your ring size at home using one of the following methods.
Using a Well-Fitting Ring
If you have a ring that fits well on the finger where you want to wear your new ring, you can measure the inside of the ring (the diameter) in millimeters. The number of millimeters corresponds to your ring size. Use a ruler to measure it.
18mm = ring size 18
Order a Ring SizerSet
Ring sizer sets come with rings in different sizes that match the inside diameter of a ring (as explained above). Try on the rings to find the most comfortable fit. Once you find a snug-fitting ring, check the diameter size (in millimeters). This is the ring size you need.
Keep in mind:
- Leave a little room for your finger to swell, especially in warm weather or during physical activity. Cold fingers tend to be slimmer.
- A wide ring may feel tighter than a narrower one. You might need up to half a size larger for a wider ring.
- If possible, measure at different times to get an accurate picture.
Request a ring sizer set. After payment, we will send the ring sizer set to your address within 2 working days in an envelope.
What if You’re Between Two Ring Sizes?
If your ideal ring size falls between two whole (16) or half sizes (16.5), no worries! All my rings are made to order and made by hand. Just mention your ring size in the order notes, for example, 16.25.
