Simone was on a quest to find a truly special gift for her dear friend, marking both a birthday and an astonishing 50 years of friendship. Her friend was born in January, so Simone thought it would be charming to incorporate a birthstone. She also wanted to playfully integrate the letter ‘V’ into the jewelry design, as both their last names began with ‘V’. Thus, the concept of a ‘Friendship Jewel’ was born.
The earrings had specific requirements:

Simone gave me creative freedom, and the result was the culmination of our collaboration.
